Chocolate Chip Caramel Brownies
Preheat oven 350
grease 9x13 pan
Melt 14 oz of caramels with 1/3 c evaporated milk
Combine 1 (18 1/2 oz) box German chocolate cake mix
1/3 c evaporated milk
3/4 c softened margarine
1 c pecans
Put 1/2 of above mixture (cake mix, milk, marg., nuts) in pan and bake for 6 minutes
Remove from oven
Cover with 12 oz of chocolate chips, then the caramel mixture, then the remaining cake mix mixture (use small scoops to try to get even)
Bake for 15-20 minutes
Cool BEFORE cutting
Butterscotch Cereal Treats
Mix 1 package butterscotch chips with 1/2 cup of chunky peanut butter
Melt in a double boiler or in the microwave
Add 8 cups of corn flakes
Stir until covered
Spread on wax paper-lined cookie sheet and put into fridge for 30 minutes
Break into chunks
Store in an airtight container
